Project updates to date:
– We have engaged with the Skaneateles Lake Association and CCE Onondaga to engage Lake Front land owners to collaborate on this project and install shallow groundwater wells between their septic systems and the lakeshore.
– We presented this project at the Skaneateles Lake Research Summit to share information and build resident support.
– 6 collaborating residences are currently engaged in this project with 10 targeted by the end of spring 2026.
